In Arenac County, the Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency (NEMSCA) provides quality programs and services to strengthen the community, individuals, and families. To help keep you and your family healthy, MidMichigan Health has its headquarters in the City of Midland. Among the physicians at MidMichigan Health are those who have expertise in neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and cardiovascular services.
Education
The Great Lakes Bay Area is home to many great colleges and universities, including Central Michigan University, Mid Michigan College, Saginaw Valley State University, Northwood University, Alma College, Davenport University, and Delta College—which ranks among the top 10 percent of community colleges in the nation. With respect to elementary and secondary education, the Great Lakes Bay Area has over 150 schools, ranging from public schools to private schools. In addition, the Saginaw Career Complex (SCC) works with parents, businesses, and community partners to provide career experience for high school students before they graduate.
